You're stuck in purgatory where everything resets after 30 seconds and you want to escape.

The greedy gatekeeper makes you a deal: bring him 1000 gold and he'll let you go.

• kill enemies to earn gold
• go to the shop to buy upgrades and reset the time limit
• earn enough gold to buy your ticket out of purgatory in the shop
